Our story starts in the 1970s, when powder coater and anodiser, John Villante, made his mark by purchasing aluminium manufacturers, Anocoaters. After selling the business in the early 1990s, John then built his own site a few years later in Dandenong, Melbourne, where we still reside today – known as Aluminium Profiles Australia.
In 2002, John commissioned the first horizontal paint line and anodising plant at his site, forming a partnership with INEX, Independent Extrusions. This collaboration lasted until 2007, when John decided to become independent, installing his own press by early 2008.
Exponential growth and demand in the early stages of the business quickly identified a need to expand services for Australian manufacturers, which then saw the conception of sister-company, Extrusion Profiles Australia, in 2008.
Harnessing industry challenges through COVID-19, EPA maintained high production levels, peaking at 24,000 tonnes per annum. Fast-forward to 2024, when EPA and APA joined forces with fellow Australian-owned business leaders, the Bradnam’s family, to mark a new era for the companies. This is when National Aluminium, as we know it now, was formed.
Today, our team brings forth a new lens to the Australian Aluminium industry, leading the way with unmatched capability and a refreshingly personal take on customer service.
